Seeing Jesus in you.

Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Col 1:27)
Has someone seen Christ in you to-day?
Christian, look to your heart, I pray;
The little things that you’ve done or said-
Did they accord with the way you prayed?
Have your thoughts been pure, your words been kind;
Have you sought to have the Savior’s mind?
The world with a criticizing view
Has watched-but did it see Christ in you?
Has someone seen Christ in you today?
Oh, Christian, be careful, watch and pray.
Look up to Jesus in faith, and then
Lift up unto Him your fellowmen;
Upon your own strength you cannot rely;
There’s a fount of grace and strength on high,
Go to that fount and your strength renew
And the life of Christ will shine through you.

Natural or supernatural faith?

Do You Live by Natural or Supernatural Faith?
Every normal human being is endowed with common sense, a kind of judgement that serves him to make ordinary decisions for his own good and welfare. For instance, by natural faith even though we ordinary people cannot prove it scientifically we buy and like to drink milk because we belie…ve it’s good for our biological system; we embark a plane believing that the pilot and his crew are competent to take us to the desired destination. By natural faith I entrust the contents of an envelope in the hands of unknown postmen so that I may send my payments or communicate with my friends abroad (who probably have never heard of the internet just saying…).
By contrast, supernatural faith is not granted to everybody indiscriminately, since it is a special gift which Jesus has obtained by his death in order to bestow it upon His chosen people ~us. It is a divine blessing, unmerited and without which nobody can enter heaven, for by supernatural faith engendered in us by the mysterious operations of the Holy Spirit we are united to Jesus and enjoy his redemption.
This kind of faith, which the Bible says, is a gift of God (Philippians 1:29). It only originates as one hears the Word of the Gospel, as a seed is sown into the ground: it germinates and takes root and sprouts. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Reading the Gospel is the only way you can grow in your faith and live in it.
Because by this type of faith we look beyond the reality of this present age and world. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). Supernatural faith is indispensable for our right relationship with the living and true God. And more than anything, we need to cry out to God, “I do believe, Lord help my unbelief, give me more faith.” Being human we are born with natural faith; but when we are being born from above we are granted supernatural faith. This kind of faith is utterly dependent upon God.
Today, I urge you to read the Word of God ~ your Bible to keep growing in it. Keep standing in the gift of supernatural faith for that which you are believing for, and act on what is possible for you, and He will do the impossible, for He is faithful!!!!!!!
Isa 56:1-2

Isa 56:1-2 So says Jehovah, Keep judgment and do justice; for My salvation is near to come, and My righteousness to be revealed.
Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold of it; keeping the sabbath, from defiling it; and keeping his hand from doing any evil.
I think that this is self explanatory in many ways but then again no one really sees the whole picture until God reveals it to them. Keep judgment, am I to judge someone. No, we should let God do that in most cases then there is sins like murder and such should be judge in a court of law. Do justice, wait a minute, does God wants us to do justice. Yes but through the courts of law and not take it upon ourselves. Well, our salvation is at hand. All we do is to believe in the Lord and bring him into our hearts. Read the Bible every day and pray. Talk to god all the time, he wants to have a conversation with us. We don’t need to tell Him what we need, he already knows, we need to let him that we see it also.
It says we are to keep the sabbath, yes that is right, we can have fun on Sunday but we need to take time out to spend time with the Lord in worship whether it be at the park or in church. It would be better in church. we can have our own church in our home but we don’t get the fellowship with other Christians and not just family.
Well I am getting off my soap box.
Christian Father

Role of the Christian Father
Father’s day is a day to celebrate the goodness of fatherhood. This is a day when we remember and honor our father’s love and commitment. As children, have you thanked your father for his love toward you? We are thankful for fathers’ support, guidance and love. We thank God that He has blessed us with spec…ial fathers.
A father is a good provider. As long as he is capable, he is willing to labor hard to provide shelter for his family, and food on the table. However, I strongly believe that Christian fathers are not judged by how much they earn or how many material goods they can provide. What does matter to his children, is how he introduces, educates, and guides them to Jesus Christ and how good a faithful Christian role model he is.
Fathers are very important in God’s plan for the family. Fathers have a wonderful opportunity to encourage, to warn, to teach, to counsel, and to model the Christian life for their children. The most important job for fathers is found in Deuteronomy chapter 6 to teach their children to always love and obey God. Paul said that fathers should raise their children in the training and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Christian fathers who do this will distinguish themselves from other fathers and will be obedient to God’s will. God desires that our children should be nurtured by fathers who love the Lord.
A man and his young son were climbing a mountain. They came to a place where the climbing was difficult and even dangerous. The father stopped to consider which way he should go. He heard the boy behind him say, “Choose the good path, Dad; I’m coming right behind you!”..As Christian fathers, are you doing your job? I am not talking about providing a cozy house, food for the table, and high education. By establishing the disciplines of worship, prayer, and Bible study in your own life, you’ll be prepared to integrate these into teachable moments with your children.
A father is the head of his family. A father does this, not out of insecurity, selfishness or pride, but out of the desire to be an obedient servant to God. (Ephesians 5:22) In this day and age when the concept of the family is under attack, and the role of the father is made light of, let us show our support of the institution of Fatherhood by loving and honoring our Fathers, and by being good Fathers; and by remembering and loving and honoring the greatest father of all – God the Father Almighty.
Honor our fallen

There are about 667 Thousand soldiers that have fallen in the battlefield fighting for this country, to give us liberty. Today take your time to honor the Lord. Honor the fallen heroes of this country. Honor those that are still serving, may the Lord put a shield of mighty angels around them to protect them, give them favor. We declare in Jesus name that not one of them will be killed…God bless America!!!
Average people

??•´`°•.¸¸.´’`°•.¸? Just Average???????º°’´`°
Did you know that the average Christian will, over the course of their life of about 35 – 40 years: Attend more than 1,600 church services hear more than 1,600 sermons, sing over 20,000 christian worship songs, participate in over 10,000 public prayers..AND will lead ZERO people to faith in… Jesus Christ in the course of their Christian lifetime. It’s a sobering and sad statistic. How close are you to being an average Christian? As Lucy said to Linus ‘we’re all capable of doing much better’.
The 12 disciples that Jesus chose to follow him were just ordinary, average people. Peter, Andrew, James and John were just ordinary, average, everyday fishermen, living ordinary, average lives, doing ordinary, average jobs. Matthew was just an ordinary, average, everyday tax collector, living an ordinary, average life, doing an ordinary, average job. But then they met Jesus and they became average, ordinary people, living extra-ordinary lives. That’s what happens. When ordinary, average people have an encounter with Jesus Christ they become average, ordinary people living extra-ordinary lives!
But it doesn’t end there. These disciples didn’t remain average people. They didn’t remain ordinary people. When they first met Jesus Christ they became average, ordinary people living extra-ordinary lives – but when they met the risen Christ – they became extra-ordinary people living extra-ordinary lives – and they went out and stood up and claim the ultimate truth of the gospel.
We need to be extra-ordinary christians!
And it takes extra-ordinary people, living extra-ordinary lives to proclaim the truth of the Gospel. It takes extra-ordinary people, living extra-ordinary lives to proclaim that Jesus is Lord.. It takes extra-ordinary people, living extra-ordinary lives to proclaim that there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved – and it’s the name of Jesus Christ. We need to be extra-ordinary people, we need to be extra-ordinary Christians, we have to be living extra-ordinary lives.
May God pour out his grace on us to make us strong. May we experience a fresh outpouring of his Holy Spirit in our day. May we become extra-ordinary people living extra-ordinary lives and may God grant us the courage that we might be able to take the gospel from our four church walls to the ends of the earth !!!!!!!
Part 1 – Mothers day

~Part 1 ~ Mothers Day ~
Story: Imagine if this ~was God’s Creation of Mothers!
When God created mothers, He was into His sixth day of overtime, when an angel appeared and said,
“You’re doing a lot of fiddling around on this one.”
The Lord replied, “have you seen the specs on this order? She has to be completely washable, but not plastic; …Have 180 moveable parts … all replaceable; Run on black coffee and leftovers; Have a lap that disappears when she stands up; A kiss that can cure anything from a broken leg to a disappointing love affair; And six pair of hands.”
The angel shook her head slowly and said, “Six pair of hands? No way!”
“It’s not the hands that are causing me problems,” said the Lord. “It’s the three pair of eyes that mothers have to have.”One pair that sees through closed doors when she asks ’What are you kids doing in there?’ when she already knows.
Another in the back of her head that sees what she shouldn’t, but what she needs to know, and of course the ones in front that look at a child when he goofs up and say, ’I understand and I love you,’ Without so much as uttering a word. “I’m so close to creating something so close to myself. Already, I have one who heals herself when she is sick …can feed a family of six on one pound of hamburger …and get a nine year old to stand under a shower. Not only can she think, she can reason and compromise.”
Finally, the angel bent over and ran her finger across the cheek of the mother. “There’s a leak,” she pronounced, “I told you that you were trying to put too much in this model.”
“That’s not a leak,” said the Lord, “it’s a tear.”
“What is it for?” asked the angel.
The Lord replied, “It’s for joy, sadness, disappointment, pain, loneliness and pride.”
“You’re a genius!” shouted the angel.
With a somber look on his face, the Lord said, “I didn’t put it there.”
How about a hand now for the crowning jewel of God’s creation: Our mothers!

~Revelation of God~ ‘ The revelation of God is not something which is legal or external or outside, but the light, that something that has come into the very depths of the soul, that has touched the hardness of the heart and melted it. Paul writes “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anythi…ng as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” Until you have a true revelation of who God really is you will have doubts in your promises and what he has ready for you to access by faith. We must really get into the Word and ask God for a true personal revelation of himself. Nothing can make us stable Christians, but to behold his glory, a revelation of Him to us. No excitement, no intellectual acumen, no strength of logic, nothing can secure us but a revelation of God to our souls. We should therefore persevere and insist that this be done for us, that we see God’s glory, and be fixed on Him. To Paul this is not something that causes him to boast in himself, but rather something that has caused him to renounce all self-confidence and put his confidence in the Lord. “not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit gives life.” This is not a ministry which has brought him under a sense of condemnation and guilt, but a ministry of grace which has set him free from all of that and given him life and righteousness, purity and victory. Our Lord!
